For picking Other in Settings
Some instruments don't sound the note they read. Play a written C on a clarinet and you hear a B flat: the clarinet is a B flat instrument. Glisso listens for the note that should sound, so it needs to know your key, which octave you sound in, and the clef your music is written in.
Instruments named in Glisso's own list already know all three. Brass players should pick their instrument from the Brass list, which also knows the fingerings.

Your band or orchestra director will know all three.
A flute and a clarinet reading the same written C play two different notes. Glisso hears what you play and compares it with what you read, so it has to know which note your written C really is.
